Today's acquisitions (12th October 2013)

This week the bulk of my deliveries were manga-related with Mame Sengoku Basara volume 4 and Gakuen Basara volume 6 on the Japanese side and the English versions of Oooku volume 8, Magi volume 1 and, er, Neon Genesis Evangelion: The Shinji Ikari Detective Diary volume 1. Please don't look at me like that. Blade Of The Immortal volume 27 should have been in the picture as well, except I'd already finished reading it and put it away.

I bought some of the English-language material on my trip to London last week to attend the fifth annual Japan Matsuri in Trafalgar Square. The event was good, though too similar to last year's to warrant a full report.

As well as the manga I picked up volume six of Capbon magazine. It's a special volume to celebrate the Monster Hunter series along with Capcom's 30th anniversary and all of the usual manga samples have been stripped out, leaving it as thin as a regular magazine. The Sengoku Basara 4 news inside is ancient.

The CD is the new Showgeki Basara Talk! Vol. 1 Masamune & Kojuurou No Maki Special-ban which should be fun, and the DVD is the long-awaited recording of the Takarazuka Revue's Musical Roman 'Sengoku Basara' -Sanada Yukimura-hen-. I'm looking forward to getting to watch it in the next few days! For some reason Takarazuka-an also packed a 2007 Takarazuka Graph magazine into my parcel which comes with stickers and a poster.

Last but not least is the sole anime purchase this week: the US edition of AKB0048 season one on Blu-ray. I also picked up a bunch of doujinshi from the Senkou! 3 ~Nagatsuki No Utage~ event held in late September (not pictured).
