There wasn't much revealed at Sunday's in-store demonstration event and the videos still haven't been posted online, but there's one new piece of information I want to share today.
It appears that import stores have now begun listing the Asian version of Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi. It's identical to the Japanese edition for all practical purposes but the cost is lower because it's targeted at markets outside Japan. The in-game dialogue and on-screen text will all be in Japanese though there might be Chinese/English text on the packaging.
Here are Play-Asia's listings: PS4 version and PS3 version
The most interesting part is that Play-Asia is listing the five 'early reservation' weapons as part of the PS4 bundle. It's unknown whether buyers will receive the downloadable wallpapers and there's no 21 Costume Hobby Box Edition available, but if you're on a tight budget this is probably the best deal.
Information is scarce at the moment but I'll post as soon as I find an official press release.
Note: If it's true that the 'preorder exclusive' DLC codes are included, you may need to set up an Asian PSN account to activate them. This is very easy to do and doesn't cost anything.
A personal blog which documents a UK-based Sengoku Basara freak's ongoing quest to become even more immersed in anime, manga and games.

ReplyDeleteThis new costumes look way too cool!!! Matsunaga looks so dashing in his, too!!!
Matsunaga looks amazing. I think I need to see some action shots of the others to visualise them in-game :D
DeleteMatsunaga looks incredible, easily my favourite DLC outfit so far and that's considering Hideyoshi's had me grinning from ear to ear
ReplyDeleteKeiji without his ponytail is so surreal to look at hahahaha
I think Matsunaga somehow looks even more awesome in the screenshots which appeared in Famitsu. He's really rocking that look.
DeleteThese costumes will probably be funnier in motion; they look relatively plain compared to the usual flamboyant armour everyone wears (and the wrestling outfits) but the idea of taking Keiji out to battle dressed like that just makes me smile :D
